      !*!

We’re looking for an MI Lead to join a growing data team, helping to transform the way we do things and building a strong focus on data, using modern cloud data technologies. You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of data visualisation, developing and maintaining meaningful visualisations developed in Power BI. Your role will be crucial in aiding data driven decision making through the use of effective storytelling to business functions and stakeholders in a more visual manner.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

      What you’ll be doing:

      • Deliver end-user focussed reporting and visualisation outputs.
      • Support the prioritising and delivery of a backlog of requirements.
      • Play a key role in the transition from legacy reporting into strategic cloud based solutions.
      • Manage operational reporting incidents effectively with responsive action and clear review of root causes.
      • Engage and partner with the business to maintain effective delivery and drive the data culture.
      • Be a key point of contact in the Retail business for MI and develop data expertise.
      • Use data effectively to build a story for a wide range of stakeholders.
      • Ensure key processes are well managed and documented.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

      !*!

      What we’re looking for:

      • Substantial experience with data visualisation and cloud technologies and tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Lake or Databricks.
      • Familiarity of leading cohesive and successful data visualisation operations to achieve strategic objectives.
      • Experience of working in an environment with fast paced change and multiple competing priorities.
      • Worked in a cross-functional data team with the other BI, Data Science and Data Engineering teams.
      • Strong focus on usability of visualisations and customer experience.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
