What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide comprehensive crisis intervention via phone, online chats, and texts
- Triage calls to determine appropriate level of care
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation using CRM system
- Warm transfer calls to other providers as needed
- Review and edit call reports for statistical purposes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of work/volunteer experience in mental health or crisis services
- Completion of 100-hour Crisis Intervention Training program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience utilizing the Caplan Model of Crisis Intervention
- Completion of Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
- Related college coursework in Crisis Intervention, Social Work, or Psychology
