- Manage and prosecute patent applications for a variety of industries
- Conduct patent searches and provide detailed analysis to support IP strategies
- Draft and file patent applications with the USPTO
- Provide strategic portfolio management and intellectual property counseling
- Collaborate with clients to assess and protect their intellectual property
- Optional involvement in IP litigation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution
- Strong knowledge of patent law and prosecution procedures
- Experience with mechanical, biomedical, or medical devices (preferred)
- Litigation experience (a plus, but not required)
- Strong client communication and relationship management skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, biomedical science, or a related technical field (preferred)
- Admission to the state bar
- USPTO registration (required)
- Strong analytical and research abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong client relationship management
