  Position: Mid-Level Landscape Architect / Designer

  Location: Costa Mesa, Orange County, CA, 92626

  Join a dynamic creative team. LandCreative seeks innovative, energetic, and self-motivated landscape architects with 4-7 years of experience in project design and management. Candidates should have a strong design sense, graphic skills, knowledge of construction documents, and a desire to lead projects. Experience in Southern California is preferred but not required.

  Responsibilities:

  1. Perform professional landscape architectural work under the guidance of the Principal team across all project phases, including concept design, schematic design, development, construction documents, bidding, and construction observation.
  2. Prepare landscape plans using AutoCAD.
  3. Create renderings with SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop.
  4. Manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  5. Research, prepare, and present reports, design ideas, and graphic exhibits.
  6. Participate in client and agency meetings, with or without the Principal.
  7. Assist clients and contractors with technical questions, codes, and standards.
  8. Conduct internal plan checks and reviews to ensure quality standards.
  9. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  10. Draft and manage construction documents.
  11. Experience in Construction Administration and Field Coordination.

  Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD R18+, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, 3D-Max preferred.
  • Strong hand graphics and rendering skills.
  • Strong design passion and creativity.
  • Problem-solving, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.

  Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
