What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design piping pumping systems and oversee construction for municipal and industrial clients
- Evaluate and select equipment, piping materials, and valves
- Assist with facility layouts, develop calculations, P&IDs, and construction documents
- Coordinate with other project disciplines and direct the work of CAD technicians
- Engage in delivering exciting projects in the Western United States and beyond
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process mechanical design of industrial facilities
- Active professional engineering (PE) license
- Proficiency with Industrial and National Building Codes
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide critical feedback
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (AFT Fathom, Pipe-Flo)
- Experience with Quality Control reviews
- Desire for personal and team growth
- Ability to serve as a technical liaison between the project owner and design team
