- Focus 40% of time on UI Design and 60% on UX Design.
- Work on future visioning for UI/UX and at the same time provide support to Agile teams to support the SDLC responsibilities
- Support complex projects within UI/UX and across functional project teams
- Assist with the development and execution of the overall strategy at the key departmental level, having a clear understanding of the long-term vision and strategy of the company
- Facilitate dialog with Product Managers and Technical Architects to uncover clear problem definition and identify assumptions
- Advocate for user needs and representation in the translation of business objectives into project requirements
- Partner with and support research in conducting research efforts including user discovery, concept validation, and usability evaluation
- Translate findings and recommendations into fully functional technical designs that will be meaningful for users and will mesh with the product roadmap
- Facilitate design ideation and strategy sessions with cross-functional groups
- Develop structural and strategic work defining user scenarios, workflows, interaction models and conceptual wireframes
- Anticipate issues at a macro and micro level concurrently
- Work through implementation with scrum teams to ensure the desired user experience from functionality to form is carried through the development cycle
- Work with other UX Design team members to refine interaction, promoting consistency and UX standards development
- 4-6 years of UX/UI Design experience
- Mid-level skills with using the Figma application, using component libraries and best practices to streamline and create proficient design files for scalability and ease of editing/modifying
- Must have experience in complex user workflows
- E xperience designing for either responsive design or iOS native platform
- P revious experience using AI tools or interest and research into how AI can improve design processes, efficiency, etc.
- Skilled in using empathy as well as critical and analytical thinking to understand and frame problems
- Comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders, including executives, and can communicate ideas in the language of business as well as design
- Passionate about sharing knowledge and expertise with more junior team members by providing design guidance and coaching
- Willing to lead and mentor teammates, share knowledge, and foster new ideas and strategies to make processes efficient
- Ability to display and utilize diplomatic conflict resolution and consensus building, eliciting feedback to act as a change agent for the team
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced agile environment
- Enjoys taking smart risks and championing new ideas
- Skilled in working with minimal supervision, executing against deadlines on multiple concurrent projects
- Open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
- Effective communicator who can present in front of stakeholders, lead design discussions, and keeps stakeholders informed of statuses on projects
- Experience working within the healthcare industry
- Expertise in complex data solutioning found in EHR/healthcare user workflows
- Experience evaluating usability studies
- Mixpanel or Pendo analytic software experience
Mid-Level UI/UX Designer
Location – 100% Remote
Contract Duration – April 2025 – December 31, 2025 with strong possibility of extension or conversion to full time employment
Note – Some domestic travel may be required occasionally (travel expenses will be reimbursable)

We are looking for a creative and collaborative UX/UI designer who can keep the user at the center of our designs. A big focus of this position is on complex data solutioning found in EHR/healthcare user workflows. This person will partner with other UX/UI Design team members, Product Managers and Technical Architects to uncover real problems as well as concept and validate effective design solutions. You will be responsible for UX/UI design solutions by utilizing discovery and analysis, user research, information architecture, and interaction skills. You must be able to create impactful change through functional, intuitive, and efficient user experiences.
