What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate student achievement by instructing virtual class/period(s)
- Plan a program of study tailored to individual student needs
- Assess student accomplishments and provide progress reports
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents
- Implement district's philosophy of education and instructional goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree and valid Missouri Teaching Certification in a 6 through 12th-grade content area
- Must be a retired teacher
- Proficient in preparing rigorous lesson plans for virtual learning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with colleagues, parents, and administrators

- 0-2 years of experience as a teacher in a virtual learning environment
