      JOB OVERVIEW

      The Mini-Course Developer will collaborate with ALLIED Hub (Advocacy, Leadership, Learning, Implementation & Education Policy) leadership to translate research-aligned content into high-quality, accessible, and practice-focused learning experiences for one of the following ALLIED Hub stakeholders: administrators, teachers, parents, school volunteers, advocates, paraprofessionals, or community stakeholders. This position will design and develop a 4-6 hour asynchronous professional learning course to be hosted on the ALLIED Hub platform.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Collaborating with ALLIED Hub leadership to design and deliver a high-quality asynchronous professional learning course that reflects the Hub’s priorities and supports the successful development and launch of the course within established timelines;
      • Designing and developing a 4–6 hour asynchronous mini-course organized into clearly sequenced modules;
      • Aligning course content with current research, evidence-based practices, and ALLIED Hub priorities;
      • Developing module outlines, learning objectives, and key takeaways for each section;
      • Creating instructional materials such as slide decks, readings, tools, templates, or job-embedded resources;
      • Developing short video scripts or recorded micro-lectures, as appropriate to the course scope;
      • Ensuring content is accessible, user-friendly, and applicable to real-world settings;
      • Collaborating with ALLIED Hub leadership to ensure alignment with Drexel standards, branding, and quality expectations;
      • Revising materials based on feedback prior to course publication;
      • Delivering all final materials by agreed-upon deadlines.

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

      • Terminal degree or advanced graduate degree in education or a related field;
      • Demonstrated experience in curriculum or professional development design, higher education, adult learning, or K–12 leadership;
      • Experience designing content for asynchronous or online learning environments;
      • Experience working in a K-12 school setting;
      • Expertise in literacy;
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
