What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with dental procedures, including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Educate patients on preventive care and post-operative instructions
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Prepare dental operatory and assist the dentist during procedures
- Uphold safeguarding policies and promote a harassment-free workplace
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- Active BLS/CPR Certification
- License and certification as per state requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and prioritize tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with underserved populations
- Experience with phosphor plates
- Fluency in an additional language
