What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough validation and testing of models to assess their accuracy, performance, and suitability for intended purposes
- Summarize work in formal written reports
- Prioritize and negotiate the resolution of identified model issues
- Partner with business units to monitor ongoing model performance
- Stay informed about advancements in quantitative modeling and risk measurement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial and/or statistical analysis, quantitative modeling, or risk measurement
- Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Solid understanding of descriptive and inferential statistics
- Proficient to advanced skills with quantitative modeling tools (Python, R, SAS, Matlab, SQL)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MS degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Ability to develop financial/statistical models and understand statistical tests of model performance
- Proficiency using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience working collaboratively with various departments and presenting recommendations effectively
