What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interview new and existing customers to assess their loan needs and advise on appropriate products
- Generate complete mortgage applications while adhering to company procedures and meeting sales goals
- Manage a sales team to cultivate relationships with real estate brokers, developers, and other referral sources
- Recruit, develop, and oversee a quality sales team to ensure compliance with company policies
- Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage products, guidelines, and pricing strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 4 years of residential mortgage sales experience
- At least 5 years of experience in mortgage management
- Proven record of successful recruiting
- Minimum annual closed loan volume of $10MM
- Must comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of pre-employment screening checks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Excellent sales presentation and marketing skills
- Strong written, organizational, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of FNMA-DU/FHLMC/LP
- Established referral network
