What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise day-to-day activities related to loan origination functions for a team of Mortgage Loan Originators
- Secure necessary documents for processing, underwriting, and closing in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain referral source relationships to ensure a steady flow of loan volume
- Actively participate in mortgage banking and real estate trade associations for industry knowledge
- Interview, recruit, and engage employees while fostering a positive work environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in mortgage loan origination
- NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial information
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

- Established referral base within the assigned market
- Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage products, operations, and current market trends
- Experience with pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
- Familiarity with local, state, and national laws affecting mortgage lending
