- Execute animations and edits based on provided storyboards, briefs, or templates
- Assist with asset creation (typography, transitions, basic VFX)
- Support larger projects by animating under direction
- Collaborate with senior creatives and respond to feedback quickly
- Learn and apply brand/motion systems consistently
- Taking on the Training Video Responsibilities (with oversight from the Senior Animator/Art Director)
- Easily able to handle the templated tasks
- BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field
- 3+ years’ professional experience in the graphic design field
- Basic experience with Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, or similar tools
- Solid understanding of typography, timing, composition, and motion principles
- Familiarity with brand systems, style guides, or design systems
- Experience working with internal communications or training content
- Strong working knowledge of After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to follow creative direction and execute against established templates and systems
- Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with deadlines
- A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and learning
Team Velocity is seeking a Motion Designer who’s excited to bring ideas to life through animation, typography, and visual storytelling. This role is ideal for someone early in their motion career who is highly detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working within established creative systems. You’ll be part of a collaborative creative team, supporting larger brand, marketing, and internal content projects while growing your skills under the guidance of senior creatives.
Our ideal candidate is both creative and strategic with a knack for storytelling through visual mediums. We are looking for a self-starter with confidence. You are highly detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A team-player and roll-up-your-sleeves attitude are a must!
This is a full-time, salaried, remote position. Employee must be located within the Continental U.S., Eastern or Central time zone preferred, but all are welcome to apply.
