What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor, detect, triage, and respond to security events and incidents in a 24x7 global environment
- Develop and mentor SOC L1/L2 Information Security Analysts while ensuring adherence to processes
- Collaborate with multiple teams including threat hunters and incident responders
- Analyze threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures from security events across a diverse network
- Assist with incident response including triage, remediation, and documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in Threat Hunting, IT Security, or Incident Response
- Experience working in a 24x7 operational environment
- Strong analytical and investigation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Cybersecurity-related certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or CISSP
- Experience with network systems, security principles, and compliance initiatives like HIPAA and GDPR
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Knowledge of security tools including SIEM systems and intrusion detection systems
- Experience driving measurable improvements in monitoring and response capabilities
