What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide medical nutrition therapy, including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for patients
- Adhere to guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA regulations and patient rights policies
- Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as needed
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs and quality assurance initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board in states where required
- Minimum of one (1) year of hospital experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems
- Strong skills in nutrient analysis programming

- Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in hospitals
- Familiarity with patient satisfaction programs and quality improvement processes
- Advanced skills in nutrition assessment and diet modification techniques
- Knowledge of regulatory standards in healthcare nutrition
- Experience training or mentoring staff in a clinical setting
