Overview
NATIONWIDE SEARCH: THE FLORIDAY KEYS - A warm, entrepreneurial family based in the heart of the Florida Keys is seeking a flexible, proactive, and adventure-ready FULL-TIME NANNY to care for two active and curious boys, ages 3 and 4. The family runs a thriving hospitality business with multiple restaurants and a hotel, and with a dynamic and ever-evolving schedule, they are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can be a consistent, supportive presence for the children.
This unique role is based in Marathon, Florida, with private accommodations provided through the company’s employee housing. The schedule includes a blend of mornings, days, and occasional nights, with flexibility being key to success. A background in early childhood education or experience supporting busy, high-energy families is ideal. The family values limited screen time and encourages exploration, play, and physical activity, including swimming in the ocean and pool, enjoying hotel amenities, and participating in water sports. A valid passport is required, as the role includes travel to the Bahamas and other international destinations, with all travel expenses covered by the family.
The ideal candidate will be a non-smoker, comfortable driving (a family vehicle is provided), and enthusiastic about becoming part of a tight-knit and collaborative team. Prior experience with similar ages, a calm but energetic demeanor, and the ability to think on your feet are essential. The position offers a competitive salary of $70,000–$90,000 per year, along with paid time off and healthcare benefits. The family is conducting a nationwide search and is eager to find the right long-term fit to join their island-based adventure as soon as possible.
