What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and develop summaries on aquatic invasive species
- Assist with harmful algal bloom research and management alternatives
- Create outreach messaging for AIS prevention
- Update web pages and internal SharePoint site with relevant information
- Deliver presentations on work products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in natural sciences
- Basic understanding of aquatic ecology
- Strong communication, writing, critical thinking, and research skills
- U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
- Available to participate for 52 weeks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Aquatic Invasive Species and Harmful Algal Bloom issues
- Experience in science communication
