      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Apply knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and guidance affecting the NEPA process
      - Review funding applications and associated tasks or projects for compliance requirements
      - Provide technical assistance to staff to clarify required documentation
      - Review and provide comments on draft environmental compliance documentation
      - Assist in the development of Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Three (3) years' experience leading development of NEPA and environmental compliance documentation, or a Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a related field plus four (2) years of experience
      - Experience with NEPA and related environmental and cultural resource compliance reviews
      - Bachelor's degree or higher in a field related to fisheries, oceanography, social science, natural science, or coastal management/policy
      - Experience leading development of Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) and/or Environmental Assessments (EAs)
      - Knowledge of NEPA laws, regulations, policies, and guidance

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with Section 106 Consultations pursuant to the National Historic Preservation Act
      - Experience working on Endangered Species Section 7 consultations
      - Knowledge of Essential Fish Habitat consultations
