      The Lead Network Engineer’s role is to support and secure infrastructure throughout the Concentrix EMEA enterprise. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network and security hardware-software and communication links involved in the next wave of IT Networking and Security offerings. Outstanding opportunity for a Network architect or Sr Network engineer with Cisco routers & switches, Fortigate, Palo alto UTM firewalls hands-on experience.

      Responsibilities:

      • Leading Complex network design implementations for clients at both delivery/ Data Centres regionally and globally
      • Lead effort on key strategic internal projects eg: Routing and Security standardization projects which will have positive impact on close to 100k user access mechanisms along with potential cost savings by decommissioning legacy systems.
      • Extended support on resolving Sev1 incidents contributing to highest uptime globally for EMEA region.
      • Positive contribution on knowledge transfer, investing extra time and energy to inspire team by taking calculated risks helped in building more creative and higher performing team.
      • Key responsibilities including supporting network engineers, helping with cost savings on strategic projects including DDoS Solutions, Multivendor Firewall Migrations, Wireless Integrations, Data Centre Consolidations, New site builds and carrier consolidations using internet vpn with split second failover along with MPLS circuits.
      • Support Complex network design implementations as well (eg:50:50 split, documentation, standardizing new site build designs) for clients at both delivery/ Data Centres regionally and globally not just from routing and switching but also on network security.
      • This role is crucial to support our framework to facilitate communications between the network support team and the IT Service Delivery Management/ IT Operations/ IT Solution Architecture teams along with strong hold on dealing with client technical and project teams,

      to support the BAU and project roadmap

      • Provide support framework for internal teams and provide in-depth technical support on wide range of Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortigate hardware implementation within Concentrix.
      • Design and development of new network and security related products and work closely with the Core Network team to understand the existing core network, and to ensure new services are integrated correctly.
      • Documenting completed services and performing a handover to other departments for in-service delivery and support
      • Follow Service Transition and Change Control procedures for production platforms and services
      • Adherence to all internal policies associated with PCI and ISO27001 certification standards
      • Compliance with our internal client's policies and procedures - Handling and protection of Our Client information - Reporting of security events - Implementing appropriate policies and procedures

      • Perform capacity planning for management reviews of the network overall performance/health
      • Develop innovative solutions that bring tangible benefits to the business.
      • Liaison with Concentrix staff, customers and 3rd party suppliers on all aspects of the Concentrix network & security environment.
      • Keep up-to-date with data and voice security standards and best practices
      • Effectively manage escalations of complex problems.
      • Organisation of workload & priorities
      • Present a positive and proactive level of communication with internal and external customers.
      • Gain and retain Concentrix customers.

      SKILLS

      Essential Criteria:

      • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fast paced, dynamic customer service environment with Cisco CCNP Security or CCNP R&S or CCDP qualification or above
      • Demonstrate a proactive approach to network security, with solid experience of Cisco and Palo Alto, Fortinet security devices, and IPSec VPN configuration
      • Experience of Firewall management and configuration in Palo Alto / Cisco ASA / Fortinet
      • Experience in implementing and configuring network policies at access, core and edge layers
      • Understanding of SD-WAN technologies
      • Hands on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Firewall products
      • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting switches including stacking, VSS technologies, Nexus OS and WAN edge ISR/ASR series routers with best practises
      • Supporting network components involving Avaya or Cisco IP Contact Centre Voice environment
      • Knowledge in Windows operating systems and administrative services such as DNS, DHCP and Active Directory
      • Experience with Packet capture filters, Linux and advanced knowledge of TCP/IP.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Problem solving, analysis and managing solutions.
      • Ability to build relationships with a variety of departments and key stakeholders
      • Ability to multi-task and prioritise heavy workload in line with changing
        business requirements
      • Excellent verbal communication, documentation and presentation skills.
      • Ability to work well under pressure, make logical decisions in a challenging environment.
      • Demonstrates innovation and the execution of solutions that bring tangible benefits to the business
