      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as a Network Engineer – Virtualization Specialist supporting network build-out and deployments for the Missile Defense Agency
      - Perform VMware system administration activities and root-cause analysis for technical issues
      - Collaborate with system administrators and cybersecurity professionals to maintain a high-quality test environment
      - Conduct system monitoring, backups, restorations, and application upgrades to optimize system performance
      - Document system changes and advise the Government customer on system status and improvements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - U.S. citizenship required due to facility security requirements
      - Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
      - Minimum of 10 years of general work experience and 7 years of directly related experience
      - Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security + CE, CySA, etc.)
      - Strong understanding of VMware technologies, including Virtualization (vSphere), Networking (NSX), and Storage (vSAN)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with VXLAN, Juniper Apstra, and RHEL Ansible
      - VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV or VCDX-DCV
      - Knowledge of Missile Defense and DoD communications systems
      - Experience with network monitoring tools and Python or PowerShell scripting
      - Degree in an IT or Engineering-related discipline
