      The Network Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the overall recruitment process in his/her areas of assignment. Activities include interviewing, hiring, advertising, coordination of recruitment events, etc. The Network Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as a resource to employees, managers and applicants in regards to the recruitment function. In this role, he/she interacts with all levels of the organization, Network and community.

      JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Performs all recruitment efforts for assigned departments.

      • Opens, updates and maintains job postings within Workday for assigned departments.

      • Consults with managers and serves as a resource for them in terms of staffing needs, application and interpretation of employment policies, interviewing processes, recruitment initiatives, Workday questions, etc.

      • Screens applications, resumes and transfer requests. Refers qualified applicants to the appropriate department manager.

      • Conducts interviews, evaluates capabilities of interviewed candidate and checks employment references.

      • Evaluates credentials/experience and develops employment offer (salary) in accordance with the salary administration program.

      • Makes all offers of employment.

      • Arranges the pre-employment physical and initiates employment paperwork, including completing required background checks.

      • Prepares new hire letters, rejection letters or other correspondence through Workday.

      • Completes accurate and thorough new hire/transfer packets.

      PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

      Sitting up to 7 hours per day, 1 hour at a time. Standing/walking up to 1 hour per day, 15 minutes at a time. Frequently uses fingers/hands for typing, computer entry, etc. Twisting and turning of hands occasionally. Occasionally carries, pushes or pulls an object of up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoops, bends, kneels, climbs and reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing as it relates to general and near vision.

      EDUCATION:

      Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred. Certification as SPHR, PHR preferred.

      TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

      3-5 years’ high volume recruitment experience required. Proven ability to multi-task.
