What you'll be doing
WSLHD is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technician Screener to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to early detection and intervention programs that improve long-term outcomes for patients and families across Western Sydney.As a Technician Screener, you will be responsible for conducting screening procedures with accuracy and sensitivity, supporting early identification of health concerns in newborn hearing loss and prior to their discharge home. You will conduct Automated Auditory Brainstem Response (AABR) testing with AABR machinery.
Technician Screeners work autonomously and are willing to cover varied shifts based on newborn births, with no weekday or weekend rostering restrictions. School hours available.
