- Instruct and demonstrate techniques for obstacle course training, including climbing, vaulting, swinging, and agility drills.
- Confidently navigate and demonstrate obstacles, including the warped ramp and Clip ‘n Climb elevated course (must be comfortable with heights).
- Create structured lesson plans that promote skill progression while maintaining a fun and positive atmosphere.
- Provide encouragement, motivation, and constructive feedback to help students develop confidence and resilience.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Background in parkour, gymnastics, ninja training, or related athletic disciplines.
- Comfortable demonstrating skills on elevated obstacles and ramps.
- Outgoing, patient, dependable, and able to work with children of varying skill levels.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Prior coaching or teaching experience is preferred but not required.

The Memphis Sports and Events Center (MSEC) is looking for an energetic and skilled Ninja & Obstacle Course Coach to lead and inspire young athletes in our Ninja 901 program. This individual will teach ninja-style obstacle training, parkour, and foundational gymnastics movements while ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for participants.
