What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform an in-depth review of at least 75 proposed transactions per month
- Evaluate income and asset documentation to determine borrower qualifications
- Communicate with borrowers and third parties to obtain necessary loan documentation
- Conduct credit report analysis and communicate findings effectively
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations in the mortgage industry
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Loan Processor, Loan Officer, or Underwriter in the mortgage industry
- Proficient in Encompass, AllRegs, Desktop Underwriter, Loan Product Advisor, and LoanBeam
- Knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or relevant field
- NMLS License under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
