      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Grow and manage a book of commercial lines business, advising underwriters and support staff on processes and procedures
      - Analyze and assess exposures and acceptable risks for Nonprofit Human Service Organizations and Education Institutions
      - Build successful relationships with agents to drive positive business flow and achieve key performance indicators
      - Underwrite renewals and escalate referrals on accounts needing additional review or approval by higher-level underwriters
      - Provide mentoring and training support to staff, ensuring a high-performing culture within the team

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
      - Minimum of 5 years underwriting experience across all commercial lines
      - Preferably have Nonprofit Human Services and Education underwriting experience
      - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      - Ability to analyze and make timely decisions; working towards obtaining CPCU or equivalent industry certification

      - Experience specifically within the Nonprofit Human Services sector
      - Strong business acumen and a focus on superior customer service
      - Prior experience in mentoring or training staff
      - Ability to conduct peer audits effectively
      - Familiarity with agency relationship management strategies
