      Main duties of the job

      As a Nurse you'll deliver a broad range of healthcare services to older people with mental and physical health needs, offering long term dementia care and bed based reablement for hospital leavers, so no two days are ever the same.

      You'll deal with clinical diagnosis and treatment, be responsible for the whole patient experience and build relationships with the people in your care. Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and our sole aim is to give them the dignity, respect and independence they deserve.

      Qualifications

      Essential

      • Qualified Nurse with current NMC registration.

      Desirable

      • Good knowledge and understanding of elderly care and the Health and Social
      • Care agenda.
      • Good working knowledge of clinical governance standards.

      Experience

      Essential

      • Experience of working in a relevant health or social care setting.
      • Experience of involving residents/families or carers in care planning,
      • monitoring and evaluating services.

      Desirable

      • Skills
      • Good clinical skills.
      • Able to provide direct care for the client group you'll be working with and have
      • an understanding of how care is delivered in a social care setting.
      • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
      • Basic IT skills/or a willingness to undertake training.
      • Good organisational skills for managing your own time.
      • Able to work as part of a team.
      • Be responsible, accountable and flexible when making decisions.
      • Able to identify new developments in Health and suggest relevant changes for
      • the service.
      • Able to build and sustain positive and professional relationships with residents,
