What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct on-site assessments of licensed or certified mental health institutions to evaluate medical services and care
- Coordinate community health care programs and improve communication between medical providers and state agency staff
- Review medical records and provide professional opinions and recommendations
- Act as a liaison between the state agency and community partners to ensure health and medical needs are met
- Analyze and report on relevant health data to support quality improvement initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of Indiana
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of experience, or Associate’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of nursing practices and public health developments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports
- Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with various stakeholders

- Related certifications and coursework that enhance knowledge and skills in nursing or public health
- Experience working with community health organizations and governmental agencies
- Familiarity with state and federal laws related to health and welfare programs
