What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Organize, review, and analyze medical records for legal cases
- Prepare medical chronologies summarizing medical records that address complaints and treatments
- Identify additional medical records that need to be obtained for legal purposes
- Provide litigation support in a variety of legal contexts
- Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to ensure thorough documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a registered nurse or medical coder
- Experience in reviewing medical records in a legal setting
- Solid knowledge of litigation support processes
- Ability to produce detailed summaries of medical records
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience preparing medical chronologies for trial
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
