What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a team of medical assistants and advanced practice clinicians in a call center setting
- Manage telephone calls that may range from routine to emergent, including prescription writing and interaction with an on-call MD
- Access and utilize comprehensive patient information via the fully-integrated EMR system, Epic
- Provide clinical advice during off-shift hours, demonstrating strong triaging skills
- Maintain clear verbal communication with patients and team members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Massachusetts
- Graduation from a master's level state program and NLN approved NP program for Nurse Practitioners
- National certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; ambulatory experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in writing, along with experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and EPIC
