      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide highly skilled medical care and treatment to patients under the direction of the collaborating physician
      - Assist in the diagnosis and therapeutic management of patients
      - Organize and present patient data to supervising physicians, including recommendations for diagnostic and therapeutic regimens
      - Arrange inpatient admissions and discharges as directed by the supervising physician
      - Administer injections, dispense medications, and order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in nursing and completion of an approved nurse practitioner training program
      - Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a related field
      - Licensure with the state of Alabama as a nurse practitioner and registered nurse
      - Completion of an accredited physician assistant training program and licensure with the state of Alabama to practice as a Physician Assistant within two months of employment
      - Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
