      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct comprehensive appraisals of patients' health status through health histories and physical examinations
      - Provide direct clinical care to patients, including prescribing medications and ordering tests
      - Document all care and education provided in patients' medical records
      - Serve as a mentor and role model for graduate students and staff
      - Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives relevant to patient populations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master's degree from an accredited school of nursing or Physician Assistant Program
      - Current license as a Registered Nurse or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
      - Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by a national certifying body
      - Privileged and credentialed through the Northwestern Medicine Medical Staff Office (MSO)
      - Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in a clinical setting as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
      - Involvement in research or quality improvement projects
      - Strong communication and teaching skills
      - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
