What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as part of the Clinical Team for Person-Centered Services
- Design, implement, and present trainings as necessary
- Review and analyze data and trends to inform practices
- Assist with crisis intervention and incident management
- Provide education on medical issues and concerns to individuals and their families
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in OPWDD
- Strong knowledge of developmental disabilities, chronic disease, and social determinants of health
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with individuals with behavioral health needs
- Proficient in Health Information Technology and confidentiality regulations (HIPAA)
- Demonstrated leadership skills and cultural competence
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with person-first, person-centered planning concepts
- Experience in designing and implementing healthcare policies and procedures
- Ability to facilitate collaborative relationships with various stakeholders
- Experience in crisis intervention and incident management
- Strong computer skills
