What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and implement novel ideas in GPU and CPU architectures, operating systems, and AI systems
- Collaborate with team members and external researchers to advance projects
- Transfer research findings to product groups to enable new product development
- Deliver prototypes, patents, and publish original research as part of internship outcomes
- Engage in research areas such as scalable memory systems and hardware-software co-design
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be actively enrolled in a university pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience or knowledge in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and CUDA
- Strong background in research with publications in top conferences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Research experience in areas like GPU architecture, AI systems, or programming systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in chip-level and system-level architecture
- Familiarity with scalable memory technologies and large-scale GPU networking
- Knowledge of AI/ML systems and hardware design optimization
- Background in VLSI and Electronic Design Automation (EDA)
- Understanding of distributed runtime systems and optimizing GPU-accelerated workloads
