      Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for monitoring Choctaw Nation facilities to identify safety hazards and to maintain a variety of occupational safety and health programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for our employees, and guests in our facilities. You will report to the Safety Manager.

      Salary Range: 55-60k

      Primary Tasks:

      1. You will conduct job safety analysis and recommend appropriate mitigation measures for hazardous working conditions.

      2. You will perform incident investigations and report findings to Claims Adjusters.

      3. You will respond to reports of hazardous working conditions.

      4. You will communicate incident trends to site management.

      5. You will conduct periodic Safety Committee Meetings.

      6. You will conduct periodic inspections of facilities and equipment to comply with code requirements, identify safety hazards, and prevent incidents.

      7. You will conduct training classes to increase safety awareness.

      8. You will present reports.

      9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

      Requirements:

      · Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health

      · Work independently or in a group and manage priorities

      · Communications skills, both verbal and written

      · Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint)
