Job Description
- Req#: 481810
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the hospital's Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) program for construction and maintenance, including developing ICRA documents, training/education, and audits of active construction projects.
- Participates in follow-up investigations to ensure corrective actions are carried out where required.
- Responds to active water leaks to assess and offer remediation recommendations.
- Use of Industrial Hygiene direct-reading instruments will be required.
- Assists in chemical exposure monitoring of team members, including conducting sampling, completing chain-of-custody forms, interacting with consulting laboratories, and writing reports.
- Will coach team members in real-time on EHS issues.
- Responds in a timely manner to urgent issues as they develop.
- Delivers presentations/education on topics related to OHSS work.
- Calibrates Industrial Hygiene equipment.
- Associate's Degree in Health & Safety, Healthcare, or other related field required.
- Minimum of (2) years of related experience.
- Science, Technical, and Military consulting backgrounds are recommended to apply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
