What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Evaluate patient's occupational performance and collaborate on a coordinated treatment plan
- Perform patient treatments using appropriate occupational therapy interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
- Prepare patients and families for discharge with necessary instructions and home programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Florida
- Hands-on BLS Card
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information
- Adherence to policies regarding attendance, conduct, grooming, and dress code

- Demonstrated excellent service to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
- Experience in maintaining a clean and safe environment and identifying hazards
- Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to patient rights and universal precautions
