- Qualification: Degree or Diploma recognised by AAOT-NSW
- Registration: AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in inpatient and/or community aged care including experience in discharge planning, home assessment, home modifications and equipment prescription.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage own caseload on daily basis.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated effective time management and organisational skills.
- Commitment to ongoing education, professional development and quality improvement.
- Current drivers licence valid within Australia

About the role
The Occupational Therapy Team at Westmead Hospital are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team. This position will initially be based in TACP (Transitional Aged Care Program). There may be future opportunities to work in other clinical areas such as acute inpatients, inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient stroke unit, and community (RACE).
You will be working in a highly supportive department with positive team culture.

This is a permanent full time role working Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
