      Overview

      Position: Occupational Therapist - Oncology/Ortho

      Location: Westbrook, ME

      Schedule: Per diem

      Compensation: $50/hr

      Come help grow our multidisciplinary oncology rehabilitation program at Saco Bay Physical Therapy in Westbrook, ME at Rock Row! With a local oncology medical group onsite, enjoy the ability to work in collaboration with premier medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses and more. Caseload 10% Ortho, 90% ReVital/cancer rehab. Ideal candidates will have a passion for cancer rehabilitation; Adult outpatient experience required; cancer rehab and lymphedema management/certification strongly preferred.

      Seize the opportunity to join our trained and respected ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation Program team who provide rehabilitative services to help improve quality of life for people affected by cancer. Our ReVital team provides the necessary education and training for therapists invested in treating our diverse patient population, which must be completed within the first 6-12 months of employment.

      ReVital is an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical. Our vision is to establish comprehensive cancer rehabilitation as a standard of care for people affected by cancer. Our network of 900+ specially trained, multidisciplinary therapists work closely with oncologists and people affected by cancer to create personalized rehabilitation plans.

      Responsibilities

      • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
      • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing OTs
      • Complete and maintain required trainings
      • Maintain compliance with government regulations
      • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

      Qualifications

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
      • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
      • CPR certified
      • Adult outpatient experience

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
      • Lymphedema certification/experience
