What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver occupational therapy services to adults with various medical conditions under physicians' orders
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and implementation of therapy programs
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding patient progress
- Collaborate with the therapy team to ensure high-quality clinical care
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
- Successful completion of the National Certification for O.T.A.
- Current state licensure as an occupational therapy assistant
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of experience as an occupational therapy assistant (OTA)
