Word processing skills for preparing correspondence, financial statements, reports, and other documents utilizing correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Keyboarding skills to type a variety of documents accurately, sufficient to produce forms, memoranda and other materials in an efficient manner.
Customer service skills to collaborate and communicate professionally, tactfully, and discreetly with faculty, staff, and administration regarding issues while making independent decisions regarding workload priorities.
Spreadsheet skills to develop and modify electronic spreadsheets and to compile, store and retrieve data to prepare a variety of reports using software such as Microsoft Excel
- Experience collaborating with students, faculty, and academic staff in a professional setting.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.

The goal of this position is to offer administrative support to the Principal
Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) of the NSF grant, as well as faculty members in assigned departments or divisions at Minneapolis College. Specifically, the role will assist the PI and Co-PI with project implementation and execution. The employee will help with tasks such as recruiting scholars and faculty, managing communications, ordering supplies, maintaining, and filing data records, and handling various business-related duties. Additionally, they will coordinate materials for workshops, conferences, and
symposiums.Salary Range: $20.02 - $25.03/hr

Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.
Work Shift (Hours / Days of work)
Monday - Friday (with occasional evenings and weekends).
Subject to supervisor approval, hours worked will be between the time of 8:00am - 4:30pm.
The scheduled hours for this position will range from 6 to 10 hours per week.
