      Purpose of Position:

      Manage the work activities of department; assist in the preparation of the budget, recommend and implement procedures to increase efficiency; coordinate travel; recommend and implement procedure to increase efficiency; assist with employee performance management.

      Uphold the organization’s vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization’s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.

      Essential Functions:

      • Assist with leadership functions such as selection, scheduling, training and performance management by instilling passion in assigned staff for NSHC’s mission, vision, and values, paying particular attention to the maintenance of a safe and productive work environment
      • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, filing.
      • Oversee maintenance of items such as budgets, purchase requests, maintenance work orders, travel requests, expense reports, etc., often acting on behalf of manager
      • Perform the purchase and maintenance of office supplies and equipment and track the related shipping and receiving activities
      • Operating on own initiative, undertake and accomplish follow-up actions on behalf of supervisor to ensure projects, reports, and administrative issues are completed on time
      • Ensure that projects, reports, and administrative issues are completed on time
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Working Conditions:

      ∙Work is conducted in a standard office environment as well as a standard clinical environment to include exposure to latex, biohazard or other harmful substances

      ∙Moderate travel is required (between 25% and 50% of the time)

      ∙Travel is required via large aircraft

      ∙Travel is required via small (less than 16 passenger) aircraft
