      Responsibilities

      Tasks

      • Direct and monitor oil and gas drilling operations
      • Monitor and forecast oil and gas reservoir performance
      • Monitor and supervise programs that maximize oil and gas extraction recovery
      • Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers
      • Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing and well surveys
      • Resolve conflict situations

      • 3-4 people

      Credentials

      Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

      • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
