Job Description
This strategic human capital partnering role will focus on designing and implementing talent acquisition, talent management, and performance management, learning and development and change management strategies that align with the segment’s objectives. This role is hands on, it involves working closely with various departments to foster a high-performance culture and improve overall organisational effectiveness and will be charged with building, executing and managing comprehensive programs, practices and processes that foster a capability building and talent focused mindset.At OM Bank, we strive to attract great people who are passionate about coming together for a higher purpose- building something unique and aspirational, always aiming to be the best they can be. ROLE OVERVIEW
This role will be responsible for the ownership of People Experience Practices, including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Change Management.
The successful incumbent will develop and implement programs to recruit and select the talent to meet OM Bank’s talent needs. The incumbent is required to work with OM Bank leadership to embed the operating model, hiring and development needs, and oversee the sourcing, assessment, selection, onboarding, and development of Trailblazers.
This role is also responsible for designing and implementing Learning and Talent initiatives for execution through the People Experience capability.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Ownership of the following portfolios:
Talent Attraction: Development of the Talent Attraction and Onboarding strategy led by an impactful Employee Value proposition.
Strategic People Resourcing for OM Bank as per the target operating model.
Talent Mapping and Market Analysis for scarce skills.
People Management: Management of People Experience Consultants who will execute on practices.
DE&I: Establishing the DE&I philosophy of the Bank. Employment Equity plan and forecasting for OM Bank and representation at relevant committees.
Learning and Development: Understanding requirements for learning and development needs, designing and implementing programmes for OM Bank.
Talent Management: Drive the talent management practice and related initiatives. Enable succession planning for the bank.
EVP: Create, socialise and measure a compelling Employee Value Proposition for OM Bank.
Transformational Change Management: Manage projects or substantial workstreams within a transformational change program, ensuring integration with related projects; use structured change management methodologies to build acceptance of change and to embed desired culture and behaviours.
Ensuring alignment with governance and policies related to the practices. Updating governance in accordance to legislation, regulation and best practice as required.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Relevant Degree required
Post Graduate Degree and 2 years Centre of Expertise experience preferred
