What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expertise and oversight of projects in energy efficiency, transportation, and IT
- Network and communicate with stakeholders around workforce development and apprenticeship strategies
- Lead proposal development to secure project growth across federal, state, and commercial clients
- Support writing and presentation across various deliverables and stakeholder publications
- Implement work-based learning programs and provide technical assistance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, political science, economics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 12 years of experience in training and technical assistance for state workforce agencies
- Minimum 2 years of experience with utility programs, including commercial and residential energy offerings
- Demonstrated success in employer-driven workforce innovations
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with on-the-job training, registered apprenticeships, and paid internships
- Proven ability to present complex information clearly and compellingly
- Background in product development and stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with economic mobility strategies and workforce program evaluation
