      On-Site Lead

      Job Summary: Services all customer needs and daily operations on-site within our client’s facility.

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      • None.

      Duties/Responsibilities:

      • Receives requests for product selection, price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers (via phone, fax, and email).
      • Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them best possible customer service.
      • Uses corporate ERP system (P21) to retrieve customer information, stock status information, purchase order status, and make changes to customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.
      • Help maintain corporate goals for corporate sales, branch sales, profitability, cost containment, branch budgets and branch inventory levels.
      • Evaluates and measures key productivity indicators for customer service.
      • Works closely with Inside Sales Manager to help coordinate workflow between inside sales corporate, branch inside sales, technical inside sales and LMH inside sales departments.
      • Hosts monthly staffing meeting to keep employees abreast of company issues.
      • Works closely with the expediter and helps/supports when necessary.
      • Investigates and addresses customer complaints for full resolution.
      • Handles the needs of outside sales force.
      • Makes hoses for customers on-site.
      • Operates the retail counter by handling walk-in cash and credit card sales.
      • Performs shipping/receiving duties as needed.
      • Follows company ISO policies and procedures.

      Requirements

      Required Skills/Abilities:

      • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
      • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.

      Education and Experience:

      • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      Physical Requirements:

      • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
      • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.
      • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
      • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
      • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
