What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide translation and interpreter assistance between credit union employees and bilingual members
- Field phone calls, voicemails, emails, and online messages
- Assist online, mobile, and phone banking users with various inquiries, including passwords and bill pay
- Build strong member relationships while delivering exceptional service
- Maintain member confidentiality and refer members to appropriate credit union products and services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish required
- Must pass credit union fluency testing and maintain a working knowledge of English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in a service or sales-related capacity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an interpreter is preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
