Job Description

- Customer Service: Provide attentive and detailed service to all guests; use suggestive selling techniques when referring to menu options and retail offerings, and cordially share information about our Company services and destinations.
- De-escalation: Handle and resolve difficult and sensitive guest inquiries and complaints in coordination with other Brightline partners; as well as respond to questions and information requests from guests and outside agencies.
- Food Handling: You are responsible for ensuring our guests' food and beverage needs are taken care of. That includes ensuring all food/beverage meets Company and safety standards. You will also serve alcoholic beverages adhering to Company established standards, including visually checking and verifying proper identification.
- Operations: You support onboard leadership in maintaining consistent operations for a seamless guest experience from the moment they board our trains; you keep an eye on how we should evolve existing SOP’s to better meet our guests’ needs.
- You have at least 6 months of experience as a Train Attendant with Brightline and are in good standing.
- This role requires use of physical abilities in the case of emergencies. You must be able to move and lift heavy objects in various directions including over your head, traverse across uneven terrain ascend/descend ladders, and perceive the physical environment around you and perform all safety related procedures.
- You are comfortable using basic math skills.
- You are a minimum of 18 years old.
- You can work shifts which include day, nights, weekends and holidays. Shift subject to change.
- This role falls under a department with a seniority shift bidding process

Your Purpose
As part of the Onboard Experience team, you will play a critical role in delivering a safe, compliant, and best-in-class onboard guest experience. Onboard Lead will support the Onboard Management team as a first line of defense in the daily onboard operation and with training and developing Brightline’s Train Attendant team.
