- Completes and documents inspections of all assigned medication storage areas monthly.
- Identifies and replaces outdated/unusable drugs as documented on unit inspection forms.
- Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel.
- Verifies the daily activities of Pharmacy Technicians. Participates in the performance appraisal of Pharmacy Support personnel.
- Organizes and prioritizes work assignments. Ensures Pharmacy services are provided in a timely manner as evidenced by lack of complaints.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
- Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire. Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist or certification obtained with 3 years of employment.
- Pharm D.
- Experience: Licensed pharmacist with at least three (3) years of clinical oncology experience preferred or PGY2 oncology residency
Inova Schar Cancer Clinic is seeking a dedicated Oncology Ambulatory Care Pharmacist to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday – Friday; shift varies| Sign-on Bonus & relocation assistance available.
