What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, understanding their practice structure and business model
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of oncology products and effectively communicate their value to healthcare professionals
- Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment to develop account plans
- Collaborate with a diverse customer team to ensure consistent customer experiences across various divisions
- Proactively share insights and best practices to help customers meet their needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience, or a minimum of high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnight travel 10-15%
- Reside in or near the designated territory
- Strong understanding of oncology, including cancer staging and treatment options
- Proven ability to analyze complex market dynamics and customer needs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of oncology field-based experience selling oncology therapeutics
- Documented history of strong performance in a sales or marketing role within oncology
- Experience in the healthcare/scientific field, particularly in oncology
- Military experience related to healthcare or sales
- Strong interpersonal and strategic thinking skills
