What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of oncology products, services, and market dynamics
- Achieve annual sales and profit goals through effective customer management in the assigned region
- Collaborate with Territory Business Managers to engage with key accounts
- Facilitate access to oncology groups by understanding their needs and buying patterns
- Provide market feedback on products and competition to the Regional Director
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a business-related field required; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in oncology sales in diagnostics or pharmaceuticals
- Strong closing skills with prior formal sales training preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels
- Valid driver's license for state of residence required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in consultative sales and promotion of molecular products
- Extensive knowledge of the clinical and laboratory market environment
- Proven ability to work under deadline pressure and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with the payer and reimbursement landscape
